These fabric storage baskets or planters are lined with durable waterproof canvas with a top trim that shows when you fold down the top. I love the idea of using them as planters for indoor or outdoor plants, but you can use them for anything! Some customers' plans include using it as a storage receptacle in their car, on their bathroom vanity for cosmetics, or pen and pencil storage on their desk. The possibilities are endless!

The lining is waterproof and the exterior is made of cotton stabilized to keep it's shape and stand up. That said, I would only spot clean as needed. I cannot guarantee the quality of the item if you put it in the washing machine but should you absolutely need to wash it, I would use a gentle cycle with cold or warm water and hang to dry. It should not go in the dryer as it can melt the waterproof lining in the canvas.
